At Youthline, fundraisers mean so much to us, especially during this lockdown year. We appreciate their time, passion, and support in helping us reach our fundraising goals.
Youthline work with young people from the age of 12 so it was amazing to hear the news of two young ladies from Bracknell choosing Youthline as their charity of choice for their fundraising event. Layla, 15 who attends Garth Hill College, walked the length of a Marathon, and was joined by her friend, Dani also 15 from Garth to support her during the first half, and I believe her mother kept her company during the last half. They planned and organised the walk on their own, choosing their routes and I know their families are very proud and we are also feeling very proud, an amazing achievement.
Thank you to both Layla and Dani. The money you raised will be used for a training course to enhance our counsellor’s awareness and skills in understanding autism and how to best support our clients with autism.
