On Sunday, 20th June Monika, a Warfield resident along with family, friends, and Youthline volunteers paraded through Bracknell.
As many of you know Monika has been running around Warfield and Bracknell in different fancy dress costumes to raise funds for Youthline. She said ‘If I can put a smile on your face, raise as much money for this great charity as possible and reduce the waiting time for even one person, then that would be amazing.’ Youthline provides FREE counselling to residents of Bracknell Forest for young people from the age of 12-25 and adults who are parents/carers or who work and support young people.
So far Monika has raised over £3500!! She even organised a raffle for the day where you had to guess which costume she and her partner were going to wear on Sunday. The correct answer was Tom & Jerry and Monika pulled the winner out of a hat and the winner was Theresa. Well done for all those that guessed the correct answer and for entering.
A personal message from Collette Reynolds, our Practice Manager ‘It has been an absolute pleasure meeting Monika and getting to know her over the past months. Monika’s positivity and attitude has been amazing. She has put a smile on so many faces. Youthline has benefitted significantly from Monika’s JustGiving Page. Everyone’s generosity so far has paid for 100 counselling sessions at Portman Close, Bracknell’
